One of 50 beautiful mothers featured in Beauty Revive’s 50 most beautiful mothers issue in 2016. Yes. I did say 2016. It’s about time I featured Valerie on my blog. I do have a very good excuse though. At the time the article was published in May 2016, I had family members who needed my help. I went to Idaho to help my sister recover from a surgery gone bad and then when I came home I found out my father had cancer. My head was spinning and I was thrust into grieving when his doctors gave him a terminal diagnosis. Little did I know that the grief would really hit me after his death. I know he is in heaven with a new body, but for those of us left behind we are still missing him so. Time has passed so slowly. I relate slow to relaxing, but in this case it was a time warp and a lot of things had to wait.
BEAUTY REVIVED CHILDREN’S CAMPAIGN 2018
Forever Captured Images is looking for a beautiful child to be featured in Real Beautiful Children’s Issue in the Beauty Revived magazine this summer. This is not a beauty contest. I am looking to recognize inner beauty of character, compassion, integrity, perseverance and selflessness. I want to share how they tackle each day with incredible love, patience and kindness and how they radiate constant beauty, even amidst the most challenging circumstances.
I am fortunate to know a bevy of children like this, but I want to hear from you and to meet the incredible children who you believe deserve to be recognized. If you know someone with these qualities, I want to share their story.
